Jewish cemetery (Jestädt)
The Jestädt Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Jestädt , a district of the Meinhard community in the Werra-Meißner district in Hesse . It is a protected cultural monument .

The cemetery is located north of Jestädt near and east of Motzenroder Straße, about 500 meters from the exit. It runs parallel to the valley and the tree line. There are 170 tombstones .
history
The cemetery was occupied from at least 1642 to 1855. A "historical plan from 1780" shows two parts of the cemetery that are at right angles to each other. One part is called "Alter Juden-Todtenhoff", the other with "Juden Todten Hoff". There are no traces of the old part.
