Juerg Obrist

Jürg Obrist (born December 20, 1947 in Zurich ) is a Swiss graphic artist and writer .

Life

Jürg Obrist completed training as a retoucher and then further training as a photographer at the Zurich School of Design. In 1976 he went to the United States ; He worked as an illustrator in New York for several years and worked on the first picture books for American publishers . After returning to Switzerland , Obrist settled in Zurich, where he lives as a freelance illustrator and writer.

Jürg Obrist's graphic work consists mainly of illustrations for picture books; he also writes successful crime story books for children.
