Jürgen Kolb

Jürgen Kolb (* 16th March 1958 in Mainz ) is a German radio announcer and - moderator .

Life

During his studies, Kolb was invited to a microphone rehearsal at the Hessischer Rundfunk (hr) in 1979 . Kolb worked alongside the German - and spokesman overdraft -Studies (the latter at Jörg Jesch ) first as news - and traffic spokesman as well as hr2 - Announcer .

Since 1980/81 Kolb u. a. the morning shows on hr1 Guten Morgen everybody and on hr3 Pop und Weck . Various talk shows in hr1 and the hr3 midday discotheque were added. Since 1986 Kolb has also presented almost all entertainment formats in hr4 . In addition, there were synchronous activities at ZDF (e.g. for Terra X or the foreign journal ).

In 1990 Kolb (together with Stefan Schiebelhuth ) set up the radio presentation desk at the hr, which he later took over. Kolb was one of the initiators for the establishment of the ARD pronunciation database , adb , at the beginning of the 1990s. In 1999 he became deputy chief spokesman . Until March 2017, he spoke the original sound news on hr2-kultur and hr-iNFO .

Since 1997, Kolb has increasingly devoted himself to the news and announcement in the classic programs of the hr. As a voice trainer and coach, Kolb led many of today's radio producers to microphone rehearsals and / or to the moderation of entertainment programs on radio and television.
