Jürgen Leitner (musician)

Jürgen Leitner (born October 28, 1979 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian musician and producer .

Career

Leitner plays the Styrian harmonica and has taken part in the ORF harmonica competition since 1989 . In 1995 he founded the folk music group "Die Ziamwiam" and since 1999 he has been an active member of the Austrian dialect band Die Seer . In 2003, the band received the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category Pop / Rock national group for June snow , followed by the Amadeus Award in the Schlager category in 2009. In 2014 the Seer were nominated in the “Best LIVE Band” category. Since 2000 Leitner operated jointly by Roman Steinkogler his own recording studio and record label Xtension Productions where he primarily Austropop & folk music produced. In 2009 he also founded the dialect group “Holatrio”.
