Jürgen Winkelblech

Jürgen Winkelblech (* 1970 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German film editor .

Jürgen Winkelblech studied theater, film and television science in Bochum and Berlin from 1992 to 1997 . At that time he was the production manager and assistant director for various short films. From 1997 he studied assembly at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg . For editing the short film Die Abenteurerin he was honored in 2001 with the young talent of the German Camera Prize.

While still studying, he edited his first feature film with Liberated Zone . Since then he has been responsible for editing around 20 feature films. Most often he has worked with the director Francis Meletzky .
