JC Chandor

Jeffrey C. Chandor (born November 24, 1973 in Morristown , New Jersey ) is an American screenwriter and film director , who became known with the business thriller Margin Call .

Life

There are currently only a few biographical details of Chandor. According to press releases on Margin Call , he grew up in New York City and London . He studied film studies at the College of Wooster in Ohio and film production at New York University . Chandor has made a short film, several TV documentaries and commercials, and a six-part concert film series. His feature film debut The Great Crash - Margin Call was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival . He then realized other film projects: All Is Lost followed in 2013, and A Most Violent Year was created the following year .

JC Chandor has been married to the New York painter Mary Cameron Goodyear since 2004
