Kim Ja-youn (born April 28, 1978 in Jeonbuk , South Korea ) is a former South Korean biathlete .
Kim Ja-youn made her international debut at the beginning of the 1999/2000 season in Hochfilzen in the Biathlon World Cup and was 88th of an individual. The first major event was the 2001 Biathlon World Championships in Pokljuka , where Kim was 74th in the individual and 72nd in the pursuit. The high point of his career was participation in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . In the competitions in Soldier Hollow , the South Korean was used in singles and sprints, where she finished 66th and 69th. A year later, the 2003 biathlon world championships in Khanty-Mansiysk became the last international championship in which she participated. In the individual she was 65th and achieved her best international result at the same time, in the sprint she finished on a 75th place at the end of her international career.
