Jacob Artist (born October 17, 1992 in Buffalo , New York ) is an American actor.

Life

Jacob Artist was born in Buffalo , New York in October 1992 and grew up in Williamsville . There he attended Williamsville South High School and was accepted into his senior year of high school at the Juilliard School , but opted for an acting career. In 2011 he began guest starring in television series such as Bucket & Skinner and Melissa & Joey and How to Rock . In 2012, he was next to the Australian actors Indiana Evans and Brenton Thwaites in a larger role in the Lifetime - TV movie Blue Lagoon: hopelessly in love to see.

His most famous role so far is that of Jake Puckerman , the younger half-brother of Noah "Puck" Puckerman ( Mark Salling ), in the series Glee . He joined the series in the season premiere of the fourth season as a supporting actor and was promoted to lead actor in the fifth season.
