The Jacob Hägg is a survey vessel owned by the Swedish shipping authority Sjöfartsverket .

The ship was built under construction number 318 on Djupviks Varv in Tjörn and was completed in May 1983. It is used to survey the Swedish sea areas and in particular the fairways and approaches to ports . The ship is named after the Swedish officer and marine painter Jacob Hägg. It is driven by a crew of seven . There are nine cabins available on board.

The ship is powered by Volvo Penta diesel engines. The speed of the ship is around 12  knots . It is equipped with a bow thruster . For surveying tasks, the ship is equipped with a multibeam echo sounder and various sensors. In the stern area there is an open working deck behind the superstructure . Lifting tools are installed here, among other things. There is a work boat on board.
