Jacqueline Obradors

Jacqueline Danell Obradors (born October 6, 1966 in San Fernando Valley , California ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Obradors first appeared mainly in television series , in the action film Red Sun Rising (1993) she took on a small supporting role. In the action film Soldier Boyz - The Event (1996) she appeared as Vasquez alongside Michael Dudikoff . In the action film Six Days, Seven Nights (1998) she played the role of Angelica alongside Harrison Ford and Anne Heche . For this role she was nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award in 1999.

In the comedy Tortilla Soup - The Spice of Life (2001) she played the role of Carmen Naranjo , the daughter of Martin Naranjo , played by Hector Elizondo . For this role, she was nominated for the American Latino Media Arts Award in 2002. From 2001 to 2005 she played the role of police detective Rita Ortiz in the television series NYPD Blue . For this role she was nominated for the American Latino Media Arts Award in 2002. In the action film Unstoppable (2004) she played one of the main roles alongside Wesley Snipes . In the sitcom Freddie she played alongside Freddie Prinze junior in 2005 and 2006 as his sister Sofia.

She is married to the film producer Juan García .
