Jacques-André Maire (born May 25, 1957 in Neuchâtel ; resident in Les Ponts-de-Martel and bread lingerie ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

biography

Maire obtained a Master of Public Health and is currently Director of the Office for Vocational Education and High Schools of the Canton of Neuchâtel . From May 1993 to December 1999 he was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel. On September 21, 2009 he was elected to the National Council for Didier Berberat , who was elected to the Council of States . His office as National Council ended in 2019.

Together with Meinrado Robbiani, Maire is Vice President of Travail.Suisse (as of 2015).

Maire is married to the Neuchâtel SP politician and government councilor Monika Maire-Hefti and has three children. He lives in Les Ponts-de-Martel.
