Raymond Clottu (born December 18, 1967 in Neuchâtel ; resident in La Sagne ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP / non-party).

biography

Clottu began his political career in the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel from December 2005 to May 2013. From April 2007 to February 2013 he was Vice President of the Neuchâtel SVP.

Raymond Clottu represented his canton in the National Council from September 9, 2013 . On April 17, 2017, it became known that Clottu would be excluded from the cantonal SVP, among other things because he had not paid his membership fees and had criticized the party. Clottu said he wanted to continue politicizing at the national level in the SVP group, but as an independent. He did not run again in the subsequent 2019 elections .

Professionally, he works as an accounting expert. He lives in La Brévine .
