Raphael Comte

Raphaël Comte (born September 29, 1979 in Neuchâtel , resident in Courtételle ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

Comte is currently studying law .

From 2000 to 2008 Comte was councilor of Corcelles-Cormondrèche . From 2001 to 2009 he was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel . He also chaired the FDP of the Canton of Neuchâtel from 2004 until the merger with the Liberals in 2008.

On January 17, 2010, Comte was elected to succeed Didier Burkhalter in the Council of States , which he presided over in 2016. In 2018 he decided not to run again and resigned in December 2019.
