Jacques Mbali
Jacques Mbali (* 1921 in Aketi Port-Chaltin , Congo ; † June 22, 2007 in Kinshasa , Congo ) was bishop in the diocese of Buta from 1961 to 1996.
Life
Jacques Mbali was ordained a priest in 1947 . In 1961 he was appointed by Pope John XXIII. appointed bishop in the diocese of Buta to succeed Georges Désiré Raeymaeckers ; it was consecrated by Archbishop Gastone Mojaisky-Perrelli . From 1978 to 1980 he was Apostolic Administrator of the Bondo Diocese .
In 1996 his age-related resignation was accepted.
