Jaib was an ancient Egyptian king ( Pharaoh ) of the 13th Dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ), who lived from around 1719 to around 1709 BC. Or around 1680 to around 1670 BC Ruled.

supporting documents

According to the Turin royal papyrus, Jaib is said to have ruled for 10 years, 8 months and 28 days. Despite this relatively high number of years of reign, he is known from only a few objects. It is proven above all by a large number of seals ( scarabs ). The stele of a private person named Sahathor probably comes from Thebes and gives his name. A fragment of a faience bowl with his name on it comes from El-Lahun .
