Career

Sievers began his career in the youth of Karlsruher SC . On July 1, 2011, he moved to the youth department of Bolton Wanderers . In 2013 he joined the U19 team at 1. FC Kaiserslautern . The following year he received a contract for the club's second team. On February 7, 2017, FCK announced that Sievers had received a professional contract.

Sievers played his first game in the 2nd Bundesliga on December 1, 2017 in the 3-2 defeat in Heidenheim , when he came on for the injured Marius Müller in the 23rd minute .

On May 4, 2018, after the relegation to the 3rd division , the club announced that Sievers had extended his third-division contract until 2021. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season, Sievers was named number one in the Palatinate goal. He played the first seven games. After an injury he was represented by Wolfgang Hesl , who stayed in goal even after Sievers had recovered.

During the winter break, head coach Sascha Hildmann declared Lennart Grill to be the new goalkeeper, whereupon Sievers was loaned to FC Gifu in the Japanese J2 League for a year at the beginning of February 2019 in order to gain match practice. With Gifu, the goalkeeper had to relegate to the J3 League at the end of the season as bottom of the table . On January 1, 2020, the loan contract with the Japanese ended and Sievers returned to FCK , where he is not in the squad.
