Jan Kazimierz Wilk
January Kazimierz Wilk OFM Conv ( port. : João Casimiro Wilk , * 18th September 1951 in Seroczyn , Poland ) is a Roman Catholic priest and bishop of Anápolis .
Life
Jan Kazimierz Wilk joined the religious order of the Minorites and was ordained a priest on June 24, 1976 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Formosa on January 28, 1998 . He was ordained episcopal on April 4th of the same year by the Archbishop of Brasília , José Cardinal Freire Falcão ; Co- consecrators were Augustyn Januszewicz OFMConv, Bishop of Luziânia , and Marian Błażej Kruszyłowicz OFMConv, Auxiliary Bishop in Stettin-Cammin . As a motto he chose Ut amor ametur .
On June 9, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Anápolis and on August 14 of the same year he was introduced to the office.
