The Diocese of Luziânia ( lat. : Dioecesis Lucianiensis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Luziânia in the state of Goiás .
history
The diocese of Luziânia was established on March 29, 1989 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Pastoralis prudentia from cedings of the dioceses of Anápolis , Ipameri and Uruaçu . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Brasília as a suffragan .
