Janar Toomet (born August 10, 1989 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian football player who plays for JK Kalev Sillamäe in the Estonian Meistriliiga .
Career
society
In his youth Janar Toomet played for FC Flora Tallinn. From 2006, the variable offensive player came to missions for their second team in the Esiliiga . At the beginning of the 2007 season he moved to FC Valga Warrior where he played for two years. From the 2009 season, Toomet played in the Meistriliiga for JK Tulevik Viljandi, where he initially came mostly to the Esiliiga as a second substitute. It was only from the following season in 2010 that he was regularly used in the Meistriliiga team. Under contract with FC Levadia Tallinn since 2011 , he was brought up to the first team via the reserve and achieved a regular place there in the last third of the 2011 season under interim coach Sergei Hohlov-Simson . After the first 12 game days of the new 2012 season Toomet was able to score 5 goals and was third on the scorers' list behind Tarmo Neemelo and Vladislav Ivanov . With Levadia, Toomet was able to win the Estonian Cup in the final against JK Trans Narva in his first year there . With a clear 3-0 win, he was on the field for the entire duration of the game. At the beginning of the 2013 season he signed a three-year contract with JK Nõmme Kalju .
National team
For Estonia, Toomet came to two missions for the U-21 in his home country in 2008 . In the Baltic Cup of the U-21 juniors he first made his debut against Latvia after a substitution for Kristian Marmor . In his second game against Lithuania during the tournament, Toomet played from the start and was replaced by Tõnis Kaukvere after half-time .
