Jane Flemming ( Jane Christina Flemming ; born April 14, 1965 in Horsham , Victoria ) is a former Australian athlete who had her greatest successes in the heptathlon .

At the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, she won silver in the heptathlon and was sixth in the 100m hurdles . The following year she was tenth in the heptathlon at the World Athletics Championships in Rome .

In 1988 she was seventh in the heptathlon at the Olympic Games in Seoul and was eliminated from over 100 m hurdles in the preliminary run. After a bronze medal in the heptathlon at the Universiade in 1989, she managed a double victory in the heptathlon and the long jump and a fourth place over 100 m hurdles at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland in 1990 .

In 1992 she had to end the heptathlon at the Olympic Games in Barcelona after an injury in the 100-meter hurdles. At the 1993 World Cup in Stuttgart she was seventh in the heptathlon and reached the semifinals over 100 m hurdles. In 1994 she won silver in the heptathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria . She was seventh in the 100 m hurdles and ninth in the long jump.

She was Australian heptathlon champion six times (1985–1988, 1992, 1993), once over 100 yards (1987), twice over 100 m (1988, 1990) and five times over 100 m hurdles (1988, 1993–1995, 1997).
