Jang Song-man (born August 17, 1985 in Kwangwon ) is a North Korean table tennis player who performed internationally from 2005 to 2012. He took part in four world championships and two Olympic Games .

Career

Jang Song-man is a right-handed defender . He took part in the World Championships in 2008 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 , but never came close to medal ranks.

In 2008 he qualified for the individual competition at the Olympic Games . He won against Marcelo Aguirre (Paraguay), Song Liu (Argentina) and He Zhiwen (Spain). He was then eliminated in the round of 32 after losing to Li Ching . In 2012, he finished ninth in the team competition at the Olympic Games .

In May 2012, Jang Song-man was ranked 54th in the ITTF world rankings .
