Janik Mäder (born September 22, 1996 in Borna ) is a German football player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at Bornaer SV , FC Sachsen Leipzig and RB Leipzig, he moved to ZFC Meuselwitz in the Northeast Regional Football League in summer 2016 . For the 2018/19 season he moved to third division club FSV Zwickau . It was there that he made his first appearance in the professional field and for FSV Zwickau when he came on as a substitute for Christian Bickel in the 90th minute of the 1-0 home win against Fortuna Köln on August 11, 2018 .
