Jaquirana , officially Portuguese Município de Jaquirana , is a city with an estimated population of 3773 in 2018 in the east of the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil . It is located about 210 km northeast of Porto Alegre . The towns of Bom Jesus , Cambará do Sul , São Francisco de Paula and São José dos Ausentes are neighboring . Originally Jaquirana was part of the municipality of São Francisco de Paula.
