Jasmijn Bakker (born October 11, 1999 ) is a Dutch middle-distance runner who also competes in the obstacle course .

Athletic career

Jasmijn Bakker gained her first international experience in 2015 when she won the gold medal in the 2000 meter obstacle course at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tbilisi in 8: 48.80 minutes. In 2017 she reached tenth place at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in 10: 35.26 minutes and the following year she was eliminated from the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 10: 24.28 minutes in advance. In 2019 she reached seventh place at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 9: 59.02 minutes and in December at the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon in 21:21 minutes she came fourth in the U23 class and secured herself in the Team ranking the gold medal. In 2016 and 2019 Karaslan was the Turkish indoor champion in the 800-meter run and in 2015 also over 1500 meters.

In 2017 Bakker became the Dutch indoor champion in the 1500 meter run .
