Jason Elliott (born November 10, 1975 in Inuvik , Northwest Territories ) is a Canadian ice hockey goalkeeper who last played for SC Bietigheim-Bissingen in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Elliott began his career in North American college ice hockey. He was drawn in 205th place in the eighth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings . He then played in the minor leagues . In the 2001/2002 season he was the third goalkeeper behind Dominik Hašek and Manny Legace when the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup . In 2002/03 Elliott moved to Europe, to TPS Turku in the Finnish SM-liiga . From there he finally went to the German 2nd Bundesliga to EC Bad Nauheim . In 2004/05 he then moved to SC Bietigheim-Bissingen for which he played until the 2006/07 season.
