Jason O'Mara (born August 6, 1972 in Sandycove , Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown ) is an Irish - American actor , best known for his roles in the US television series In Justice and Life on Mars , the US adaptation of British series Life on Mars - Caught in the 70s .
Career
O'Mara performs with the Royal Shakespeare Company . In the theater he starred in The Jew of Malta and Popcorn and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Irish Theater Awards in 2002 for his portrayal of John in Neil LaButes Bash .
He has appeared in Harold Pinter's The Homecoming in London and Dublin and at Lincoln Center in New York . He also starred on many other series, including The Agency , Band of Brothers, We Were Like Brothers , Monarch of the Glen , High Stakes , Playing the Field , The Bill , Berkeley Square , and Reach for the Moon .
In 2011 he appeared in the Fox series Terra Nova as the family man Jim Shannon. From 2018 and 2019 he played the resistance fighter Wyatt Price in two seasons of the series The Man in the High Castle .
Jason O'Mara is married to actress Paige Turco , with whom he has one child.
