Jeannot Szwarc

Jeannot Szwarc (born November 21, 1939 in Paris ) is a French director .

Life

He began his director career in the early 1960s with a few episodes of the television series The Virginian . For the series Der Chef with Raymond Burr he worked as a director, screenwriter and producer. In the early 1970s he made various television films until he made his first feature film in 1973 with Extreme Close-Up based on a script by Michael Crichton .
