Jebroer
Timothy (Tim) Kimman (born July 8, 1986 in Voorschoten ) is a Dutch musician and rapper who performs under the name Jebroer and is under contract with the Dutch label ROQ 'N Rolla Music and Kontor Records . He was a member of the Dutch music group Nouveau Riche, but Jebroer has been performing solo for a long time.
His name is composed of the Dutch words "je" and "broer", which means "your brother" in German.
biography
Kimman grew up in Voorschoten , a village near the Dutch city of Leiden in the province of Zuid-Holland . He attended Adelbert College in Wassenaar . His parents divorced when he was 10, so he wasn't good at dealing with authority from early childhood, as a result, Kimman had to complete social skills and aggression training.
At 17 he discovered rapping and began to write the first lines. In 2010 he released his debut single Btje Viegen Tog , which was produced by Boaz van de Beatz, Boaz was also a member of Nouveau Riche or is still a member today. In 2012 and 2013 he worked on Dutch television, in the films Van God los and the short film De zure inval . He has already worked with several musicians, including Ronnie Flex and MocroManiac.
With the single omlaag , which appeared in 2013, he got into the iTunes - Hip-hop forex charts at No. 1 a. This was followed in 2015 the single Banaan with which he 6th place on the Ultratopliste landed another hit. Also in 2015 he worked with the saxophonist Candy Dulfer and the singer Wudstik. The single Go on and on together emerged from this collaboration . Kind van de Duivel (a single made with DJ Paul Elstak ) became a hit in the Netherlands. The song's music video has been viewed more than 23 million times on YouTube . There was massive criticism of the song because of the obscene lyrics.
In 2017, My Gabber , a feature with Scooter, was released .
In 2018 the EP Radikal was released , which is completely in German . It was a great success. Through this EP, Kimman also gained fame in German-speaking countries . There are only German translations of some of his Dutch songs. The EP was released on Kontor Records . In 2019, Jebroer got into a conflict with the police because he was driving over 200 km / h on a motorway for a music video shoot of his single Police .
In addition, his single Flitsmeister was released in 2018 , on which HPBaxxter , front man of the German music group Scooter , also participated. Baxxter can also be seen in the Flitsmeister music video . The song Flitsmeister was published in collaboration with Flitsmeister BV, a Dutch software developer, for the app of the same name. The Flitsmeister app is a warning app for speed cameras or similar. in the Netherlands.
In 2020 the single Mutter was released , a feature between Jebroer and the Austrian DJ duo Harris and Ford . This single is inspired by the single mother, the man with the coke is there , a song by the Austrian artist Falco .
Also in 2020, announced in a Jebroer Instagram to -Story, a new album called ZesSechsSix to releasen.
