Jedlová (German: Tannendorf , also Tannendörfel ) is a district of Jiřetín pod Jedlovou ( Sankt Georgenthal ) in the Lusatian Mountains in the Czech Republic .
Geographical location
The resort is located at an altitude of 535-600 meters above HN just north of the mountain Jedlová ( Tannenberg ).
history
Tannendorf is mentioned for the first time in 1787. At that time the place consisted of nine houses. The main occupation of the inhabitants was the bleaching of linen, field names such as Hampels Bleiche (Czech: Hampelovo bělidlo) still remind us today. From 1869 Tannendorf is united with Tollenstein (today: Rozhled) to one community. The abandoned one-shift Nový Svět (New World) also belonged to Jedlová.
After the expulsion of the German residents as a result of the Second World War , the depopulated place was incorporated into Jiřetín pod Jedlovou in 1949. Many vacant houses were demolished over the next few decades, but many of the old houses have been preserved in timber frame construction. Today's Pension Zvoneček "Little Bell" with the distinctive bell tower in the center of the village is remarkable. The oldest building in the village is the former Hegerhaus , which is now known as Ranch 7D . Here seemed František Fišer which (1926-1983), here in the ecumenical translation of the Bible has been working in the Czech present-day language.
