After the expulsion of the German residents after the Second World War , the depopulated place was incorporated into Jiřetín pod Jedlovou ( St. Georgenthal ) in 1949 . Many vacant houses were demolished over the next few decades. Tollenstein was given the new Czech name Tolštýn, which was later changed again to Rozhled.

Culture and sights
The baroque statue of St. John Nepomuk from 1728, which stands at the crossroads in the lower part of the village, is remarkable in Rozhled . Many of the old houses have also been preserved in half-timbered construction .
In the middle of the village remains of a glassworks were found, which probably date from the 14th century. However , it could not be proven whether these remains come from the missing Glasendorf .
