Jeff Wadlow

Jeff Clark Wadlow (born March 2, 1976 in Virginia ) is an American director , screenwriter , film producer and actor .

Life

Jeff Wadlow grew up in Virginia . He attended Dartmouth College and graduated with a Masters degree in History and Film. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television in 2001. While still a student at USC, he directed the short film The Tower of Babble . This brought him several awards, including the Chlotrudis Award for Best Short Film (2002) and the Student Award of the USA Film Festival .

His subsequent short films Manual Labor (2002), Living the Lie (2002) and Catching Kringle (2004) have also received various awards.

Together with co-author Beau Bauman , the idea for the feature film Cry Wolf was born . In 2008 he presented the film The Fighters with Amber Heard , which won the MTV Movie Award . Under his direction, Kick-Ass 2, the sequel to the 2010 comic book version Kick Ass, was made.

Wadlow also appeared sporadically as an actor, including in Pearl Harbor (2001) and The Tower of Babble (2002).
