biography

Piot first took part in FIS races in November 2007 and celebrated her first victory at this level a year later. From December 2008 she also competed in the European Cup . In the same month she reached sixth place in the downhill from Altenmarkt-Zauchensee , which remained her best European Cup result for the next three years. In February 2009 she was a participant in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Szczyrk . While she started her career in all disciplines, she gradually began to specialize in downhill and super-G. In the World Cup she made her debut on March 7, 2010 in the Super-G of Crans-Montana , which she finished in 42nd place; further World Cup appearances followed from the season after next.

On January 11, 2012, Piot took second place in the downhill from Bad Kleinkirchheim for the first time on a European Cup podium. The following day she celebrated her first victory in the Super-G at the same location. At the Junior World Championships in 2013 , she won the gold medal in the downhill. She achieved her first World Cup point on December 8, 2013 with 30th place in the Super-G of Lake Louise . In the years that followed, Piot struggled to catch up with the world's best. Often times she missed the points, while results in the top 20 were rare. Her best result so far is 13th place in the Super-G of Lake Louise on December 6, 2015. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she was 16th in the downhill and 20th in the Super-G.
