Jens Borrmann

Jens Borrmann (born June 10, 1974 in Dresden ) is a German long-distance runner .

Career

Borrmann started out for the SC Einheit Dresden and from 1990 for the Dresdner SC . From 1999 he was with SC DHfK Leipzig . Between 1994 and 2002 he competed four times in the German national jersey.

• 1988 GDR champion (AG 13) over 3000 m
• 1996 2nd place German junior championships over 10,000 m
• 2000 winner of the Essen marathon around the Baldeneysee

  • Third in the German Half Marathon Championships (team champion with the SC DHfK Leipzig )

  • Eleventh at the Paderborn Easter run over 10 km

  • German champion in cross (long distance)
  • 3rd place at the Dresden Marathon in the half marathon
  • 85th place at the European Cross Country Championships in Tilburg
• 2010 2nd place in Finlandia Marathon
• 2011
  • Winner of the Muldental city run in the half marathon
  • Winner of the Zittau Mountain Run (35 km)
  • 25th place at the Police World Championships in Prague in the marathon
