Jens Oliver Haas

Jens Oliver Haas (* 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German author , screenplay and text writer and TV producer.

Life

Haas, son of a Spaniard and an official for the city of Frankfurt, grew up in Frankfurt and Wächtersbach. After high school graduation (in Gelnhausen ) and military service , for which he signed up for two years as a reserve officer candidate , he began studying media studies , American and German studies in Marburg, which he broke off after a permanent position at Axel Springer Verlag.

Jens Oliver Haas has been married to the presenter Sonja Zietlow since 2002 . The couple lives in Munich and Mallorca.

After initial experience as a freelancer for the Gelnhäuser Tageblatt, Jens Oliver Haas started as a reporter for the Bild newspaper in 1990 , where he also volunteered. He later gained experience in setting up the editorial team in Chemnitz and Halle . From 1993 to 1994 he worked as an editor at RTL , then until 1996 as editor, CvD and editor-in-chief for various formats (including “Immer wieder Sonntags”, “The Harald Schmidt Show”). Since 1995 he has been earning his living as an author, gag and screenplay writer. Among other things, he was the head author of the first season of the ZDF family series Nesthocker - Family to be given away . He published the book "101 Reasons to Live Without Women" , as well as co-authored the books "If ... the true story of the world" (with Martin Perscheid) and "Ich may das, I am Jude" (with Oliver Polak). Two of his books achieved bestseller status. Haas was, among other things, gag writer for formats such as "RTL Saturday Night", "Switch" and "Seven Days, Seven Heads", and developed the format "The German Comedy Award" for RTL, for which he was responsible for nine years as head writer Text writer for presenters such as Hape Kerkeling . Sonja Zietlow, Oliver Geissen, Ruth Moscher and Guido Cantz. Since the first season of 2004 he has been the head writer of the reality show " I'm a star - get me out of here! " Since 2015 Haas has also increased in action as TV coach and creative producer.
