Jesper Florén (born September 11, 1990 in Örebro ) is a Swedish football player . The offensive player has played through all youth teams since the Swedish U-15 selection in his career so far.

Career

Florén started playing football at Rynninge IK before joining BK Forward . There he drew the attention of those responsible at Svenska Fotbollförbundet early on and made his debut in August 2005 on the occasion of the first international match of his year in the U-15 student selection, which ended with a 3-1 win against a Finnish youth team. While he was establishing himself in the national team, he was also discovered by the Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam , to whose junior academy he switched to in 2006.

In the summer of 2008 Florén returned to Sweden and joined IF Elfsborg . For the club from Borås , he made his debut in the UEFA Intertoto Cup against the Scottish representative Hibernian Edinburgh in the first team. A short time later, he led the club's youth team as a goal scorer in the final to their first victory in the Gothia Cup in 33 years. He then came to the end of the 2008 season under coach Magnus Haglund to two short appearances in the Allsvenskan . After he had two short appearances in the following season and had been without playing time in the first half of the 2010 season, the club loaned him to league rivals GAIS in the summer of 2010 for the second half of the season to give him playing time for further development. Here he played 14 league games by the end of the season, but remained without a goal. Shortly after the transfer period opened in January 2011, IFE extended the loan agreement with GAIS for another year.
