Jesper Hogedoorn

Jesper Hogedoorn (born August 14, 1985 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch football goalkeeper who was under contract with Feyenoord for four years in the Eredivisie .

Career

As a 17-year-old, Hogedoorn was already in the first team's squad at Feyenoord in his hometown of Rotterdam in the 2002/03 season . Patrick Lodewijks and Edwin Zoetebier were coach Bert van Marwijk's first choice for the Feyenoorder's Eredivisie goal, the third man was Carlo l'Ami . After both Lodewijks and Zoetebier were injured for the match at sc Heerenveen on December 7, 2002, A-youth goalkeeper Hogedoorn sat on the bench. When L'Ami injured his shoulder after eight minutes and was unable to continue playing, Hogedoorn made his debut and until 2012 only played as a professional. Feyenoord took the lead through Thomas Buffel , but Heerenveen ultimately won 3-1 - through no fault of Hogedoorn's. At the beginning of the 2003/04 season he was incapacitated for six months due to a broken tibia. Until the end of the 2006 season, Hogedoorn stayed with the Rotterdamers, but only played in the second team Jong Feyenoord . A trial session at FC Aberdeen in February 2006 did not bring a move to Scotland. For the 2006/07 season, Hogedoorn went to the second division club FC Volendam , but could not win a place in the first team there. In 2007 he was initially without a club, but then got an obligation as an amateur at Stormvogels Telstar . After a stopover with the amateurs of FC Zwolle , he ended up with the amateur club Vitesse Delft in 2008. From there he moved in 2010 to the Rotterdam SC Neptunus, which merged with RVV Schiebroek to RVV Neptunus-Schiebroek in 2011 and competes in the first class of Sunday amateurs (fifth division). After one season he moved to league rivals Xerxes DZB at the beginning of the 2012/2013 season. In summer 2014 he then joined the top class team Kozakken Boys .
