Jess Ingerslev , actually Jess Ingerslev-Jensen , (born August 7, 1947 in Aalborg , † October 13, 2014 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish actor , musician and voice actor .

Life

Jess Ingerslev trained as an actor at the Odense Teater in Odense in 1973 and then appeared as an actor in various roles in this house. Later he also played in other Danish theaters, such as: in the Allé-Scenen -Theater, Aarhus Teater , Bellevue Teatret , Østre Gasværk Teater , Betty Nansen Teatret , Privat Teatret and in the Amager-Scenen -Theater. In addition, Jess Ingerslev had several appearances in various revues , also in some circus revues (Cirkusrevyen) in Copenhagen and in the summer revues in Hjørring (Hjørring Revyen) . The best-known stage plays where he took part included the performances: Skal vi danse , Genboerne , Der var engang , En skærsommernatsdrøm , Skaf mig en tenor , Succes , Clockwork Orange , Styrmand Karlsens flammer , Peer Gynt , Some Like it Hot and Livsens ondskab .

Ingerslev appeared in the band Klyderne in the early 1970s , where he met the musicians and actors Jesper Klein , Tom McEwan and with them founded the musical comic trio Avocets in 1974 . With Klein , Mc Ewan and partly with the actress and children's book author Lykke Nielsen , he also had many other joint appearances in music, on the theater stage and on television . In June 2nd, 2008 he released his first music solo album Vokseværk .

As a film actor he has worked in several Danish film and television productions . On television, Ingerslev played in a few series, such as En by i provinsen , Strandvaskeren , Flemming og Berit , Ude på noget and in the Christmas series Gufol Mysteriet . In the Danish series on the Olsen Gang he played in 1981 in the film The Olsen Gang flies over the plank, the pneumatic post sorting worker at the insurance company "Hoher Norden". In the last years from 2005 to 2012 he had his most famous appearances in the film series about Vater hoch vier and Vater von Vieren (Far til fire - gi'r aldrig op) in the role of Uncle Anders . Ingerslev also worked as a Danish voice actor in cartoons and animated films.

Ingerslev died at the age of 67 after a long illness.

Private

Ingerslev was married to actress Inger Hovman , with whom he had two daughters, actress Marie Ingerslev and singer Persille Ingerslev.
