Jessica Kresa (born June 6, 1978 in Nashville , Tennessee ) is an American wrestler who currently appears regularly in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under her ring name ODB .

Wrestling career

Beginnings

Kresa first came into contact with the wrestling business as an applicant in the first season of WWE Tough Enough , but was eliminated in the preliminary round. Then she started training, was seen in the independent scene and also competed against men. In 2003 and 2004 she briefly appeared in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling . On June 5, 2006, Kresa made his debut in the then WWE Farm League , Ohio Valley Wrestling . There she declared herself the first womens champion on July 12, 2006, but this was only recognized after some time. On September 13, 2006, she lost the title to Serena Deeb, but took it back on June 1, 2007 from Katie Lea .

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling II

After she had to give up the title again in September 2007, she returned to TNA as ODB on October 14, 2007 at Bound for Glory . But she did not succeed in becoming the first TNA Women's Knockout Champion in a Battle Royal . Over time, she mostly feuded against Awesome Kong . This was followed by a feud program with Cody Deaner as her companion against The Beautiful People . Kresa won the TNA Women's Knockout Championship at Hard Justice for the first time on August 16, 2009 in a tag team match with Deaner against Velvet Sky and the previous title holder Angelina Love . However, since Deaner claimed the title for himself with the successful pin, the title was initially vacated . At No Surrender , Kresa beat him to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship a second time. On December 20, 2009, she lost the title to Tara at Final Resolution . At TNA iMPACT! on January 4, 2010 she regained the title, but lost it to Tara at Genesis on January 17, 2010.

After she announced on June 14, 2010 that she had left TNA, she returned once in February 2011 and has been permanently active again since May 16, 2011. On February 28, 2012 at the Tapings for Impact Wrestling , she and Eric Young won the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship from Gail Kim and Madison Rayne . The team voluntarily gave up the title on June 20, 2013 .

In an impact wrestling recording in September 2013, Kresa won the TNA Women's Knockout Championship for the fourth time after defeating Mickie James , but lost it again to Gail Kim at Bound for Glory on October 20, 2013.

Others

In 2010 and 2011 she played a role in the films How to Score Your Life and Death from Aboth .
