history

Jet Time headquarters

Jet Time was founded in March 2006 by a group of Danish business people and launched its first flight in September of the same year. The business concept of Jet Time was to charter out the entire aircraft , be it for other airlines , tour operators or under other contracts.

Jet Time has held a fifth of the shares in the Latvian airline Air Baltic since April 2017 .

On May 30, 2020, the airline had to lay off 313 of 343 employees due to the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis . Jet Time filed for bankruptcy on July 21, 2020, but plans to restart under the new name Jettime A / S.

Destinations

Jet Time mainly flew to destinations in the Mediterranean Sea in summer and to the Canary Islands and Egypt in winter . Numerous other destinations were served for other airlines or tour operators as part of individual contracts, sub- and ad-hoc charters. Jet Time has been taking over regional services in Northern Europe on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines since 2014 .
