Jetmir Krasniqi (born January 1, 1995 in Nyon ) is a Kosovar - Swiss football player .

Career

society

Krasniqi started his career at Stade Nyonnais . In 2010 he switched to the youth team of FC Lausanne-Sport , Team Vaud . In August 2013 he made his debut for the U-21 team of Team Vaud in the 2nd interregional league , when he was in the starting line-up against FC La Sarraz-Eclépens on the first day of the 2013/14 season and through in the 80th minute the goalkeeper Kevin Martin was replaced, who had to be substituted on after Thomas Castella was sent off. In May 2014, Krasniqi scored his first goal in the fifth-highest division in a 6-2 win against FC Colombier . At the end of the season he rose with the team in the first division .

In July 2014, he made his debut for the Lausanne professionals in the Challenge League when he was brought into play for Olivier Custodio in the 83rd minute against FC Lugano on matchday one of the 2014/15 season . In August 2014, he was in the starting line-up for the first time against FC Schaffhausen . By the end of the season he made 26 appearances in the Challenge League.

In 2016 he was promoted to the Super League with Lausanne . In the promotion season 2015/16 he came to five appearances in the league. After promotion, he was awarded to the second division club FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne in July 2016 . He made 28 league games for Le Mont in the 2016/17 season.

For the 2017/18 season, Krasniqi finally left Lausanne and moved to the second division club FC Chiasso . After half a year at Chiasso, he moved to first division club FC Lugano in January 2018, with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. He made his debut in the top Swiss division in February 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Domen Črnigoj in the 86th minute against FC Sion on matchday 21 of the 2017/18 season . He scored his first goal in the Super League in May 2018 in a 3-1 defeat against BSC Young Boys .

In January 2019 he was sent to Romania to the FC Voluntari awarded. For Voluntari he made three appearances in League 1 . After his loan ended, he did not return to Lugano and remained without a club for several months. In October 2019 he moved to the second division club FC Schaffhausen .

National team

Krasniqi played against Poland for the first time for the Swiss U-20 team in September 2014 . In November 2014, he played his only game for Switzerland's U-21s against Scotland .

Krasniqi made his debut for the Kosovar national team in May 2018 when he came on for Mërgim Vojvoda in the 68th minute of a friendly against Albania .
