Jezero ( Serbian - Cyrillic Језеро ) is a village in Serbia .
The village is located in the Opština Sokobanja in the Okrug Zaječar , in the east of Serbia. Jezero is 680 m above sea level. The village had a population of 310 inhabitants in 2002, compared to 397 in 1991; according to the last three population statistics, the number of inhabitants continues to fall. The majority of the population of Jezero are Serbs , some Macedonians also live in Jezero. The village consists of 97 households.
Jezero is at the foot of Mount Ozren. There is a road from the village to the cities of Sokobanja and Niš , but there is no bus service to the cities. The village hospital existed until the 1980s when it was closed.
