Gillian "Jill" Henselwood (born November 1, 1962 in Ottawa , Canada ) is a Canadian show jumper .

She has been riding at Grand Prix level since 1989, followed by her first Nations Cup appearance for Canada in 1991 .

Jill Henselwood had her first participation in an international championship in 1994 at the World Equestrian Games in The Hague. Here she competed with the horse Canadian Colors and reached 7th place with the team, 33rd place in the individual ranking. Twelve years later, she reached seventh place again with Special Ed as part of the Canadian team.

A year later she was able to win at the Pan American Games 2007 with Special Ed gold in the individual classification and silver in the team classification.

In May 2008 she won the CSIO 5 * Madrid Grand Prix with Special Ed . Later that year she won the team silver medal for Canada with the horse Special Ed along with Eric Lamaze , Mac Cone and Ian Millar at the 2008 Summer Olympics . In the individual ranking she reached rank 27. In 2012 she was also nominated for the Olympic Games .

She lives in Oxford Mills , Ontario .
