Jim Fuchs (actually James Emanuel Fuchs ) (born December 6, 1927 in Chicago , † October 8, 2010 in Manhattan ) was an American shot putter who was successful between 1948 and 1952. He broke four world records, won two Olympic bronze medals and remained unbeaten in 88 competitions in a row. He started for Yale University .
