Jinan County ( kor. 진안군 , Jinan-gun ) is located in the South Korean province of Jeollabuk-do .
The landscape is characterized by special rock formations and large forests. Well-known mountains are the Unjangsan (1126 m), the Gubongsan (1002 m) and the Maisan . Tapsa and Cheonhwangsa temples are located in the county .
