João Filipe , full name João Filipe Rabelo da Costa e Silva (born June 11, 1988 in Rio de Janeiro ), is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used as a central defender or defensive midfielder .

Career

João Filipe began his career at the lower-class club Audax Rio de Janeiro from São João de Meriti . Here the player made it into the professional squad in 2008. After a stopover at Mesquita FC , he came to Figueirense FC in early 2009 , who played in Série B that season. João Filipe played his first league game on May 9, 2009 against Ipatinga FC . Here he was substituted on after half-time. His first league goal he succeeded in the following season 2010. He scored the goal in the game against Associação Portuguesa de Desportos on May 15.

In the 2011 season, João Filipe started with the Botafogo FR in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro and the Copa do Brasil .
