As a goalkeeper coach
As a soccer goalkeeper, Stock played for VfB 06 Langenfeld and HSV Langenfeld .
He worked as a goalkeeper coach from 2002 to 2003 for the U19s of SC Fortuna Köln and then from 2003 to 2004 at the Cologne boarding school. From 2004 Stock coached the goalkeepers of the then top division club SV Babelsberg 03 and after a season in 2005 moved to the association division Tasmania Berlin . In 2007 he was signed by the regional league team 1. FC Magdeburg , with whom he won the state cup in 2009. In 2010, the then third division club FC Hansa Rostock brought him , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga.
From July 2011 to June 2012, Jo Stock worked as a goalkeeper coach at the FC Hansa Rostock youth academy. This was followed by an activity in the junior goalkeeper talent promotion of the German Football Association and as a consultant for goalkeeper training and goalkeeper trainer training for the state football association Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. After that, he was briefly goalkeeping coach at TSG Neustrelitz in 2014 and then at the South African first division Free State Stars FC. From February 2015 to February 2016, Jo Stock is goalkeeping coach at 1. FC Magdeburg, with whom he was promoted to the third division at the end of the 2014/15 season . Jo Stock has held the UEFA Goalkeeping Coach A License and the UEFA Coach A License (2006) since 2016. Jo Stock worked as goalkeeper coach for the Gambia national team and as goalkeeper coach instructor for the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) in the 2018-2019 season.
As an actor
As a theater actor, Stock played (lessons with Martin Ankermann - stage drama 1997-99) among other things the colossus in the class enemy and the Ede in the Threepenny Opera at the Cologne theater.
