Joachim Rüdiger von Massow

Joachim Rüdiger von Massow , also Jochim Rüdiger von Massow († December 24, 1756 ) was a Prussian district administrator . He was in charge of the Rummelsburger Kreis in Western Pomerania .

He was a member of the Pomeranian noble family von Massow . His father Ernst Dietrich von Massow († 1687) was a squire of Brünnow in the Rummelsburger district; his mother Magdalena was born by Wobeser .

Joachim Rüdiger von Massow studied at the University of Halle . He was elected District Administrator of the Rummelsburger Kreis and confirmed and appointed in January 1713 by King Friedrich I. Soon afterwards he also became the district's march commissioner . In 1732 he was appointed as the successor to a deceased district administrator of Zastrow and assessor at the Stargard court . In 1738, Georg Christian von Puttkamer was appointed adjunct in his office as District Administrator , who became his successor after his death.

Massow was a squire of Brünnow in the Rummelsburger district. In 1752 he bought the Kriwan estate in the Stolpeschen district for 5,100 Reichstaler .

Joachim Rüdiger von Massow was first married to Anna Hedwig, born von Bonin , and his second marriage to Abigail Maria, born von Ramel . The first marriage had four children, the second marriage remained childless. He died in 1756 at the age of 75.
