The Gmina Drzewica is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Opoczyński of the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with around 3,800 inhabitants.
history
The municipality was part of the Radom Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 .
On January 1, 1987, Drzewica received city rights and the municipality its current status.
