society

After Lohman began her career with the university team of Pennsylvania State University , the Penn State Nittany Lions, and Maryland Pride , she signed for the 2006 season with W-League participant Washington Freedom , but was not used in league games there. After a year in Sweden at Bälinge IF , she returned to her home country in 2009 for the premiere season of the newly founded WPS and was initially drafted by the Saint Louis Athletica franchise . However, since she did not want to leave the greater Washington area, she moved to league rivals Washington Freedom. Lohman then played for the Philadelphia Independence from 2010 to 2011 and then moved to Europe again, this time to the Spanish first division club Espanyol Barcelona , with whom she won the 2012 cup.

In 2012 she played for the DC United Women in the W-League after her return to the United States . From 2013 to 2014 she played for the Boston Breakers in the newly founded National Women's Soccer League , interrupted by a brief loan to the Cypriot first division club and Champions League participant Apollon Limassol . For the 2015 season she switched to the Washington Spirit franchise , where she ended her career as a soccer player after the 2018 season.

From her engagement at Philadelphia Independence in 2010 to September 2014, Lohman always played in the same team as her then partner Lianne Sanderson .
