Joseph "Joe" Dodoo (born June 29, 1995 in Kumasi ) is an English football player of Ghanaian origin. He is usually used in storms as a winger.

Career

Joe Dodoo was born in 1995 in Kumasi , Ghana . At the age of eight he came to Nottingham, England, and grew up with his grandmother. He began his football career in 2013 in the youth of Leicester City . On August 25, 2015, Dodoo made his professional debut for the Foxes in the second round of the League Cup against FC Bury in which he managed a hat trick in a 4-1 win. Four days later he made his Premier League debut against AFC Bournemouth . In November 2015, Dodoo was loaned to Bury for a month for which he played four third division games and scored one goal against Burton Albion . In July 2016 Dodoo moved from Leicester to the Glasgow Rangers for a fee of £ 250,000 , and signed a four-year deal. In August 2017 it was awarded to Charlton Athletic for half a year . In September 2019, his contract with the Glasgow Rangers was terminated. A month later he signed with the Bolton Wanderers .
